CHESTER, S.C. — Authorities are investigating after they said a 63-year-old man was hit and killed while riding a bicycle near Chester on Sunday.
Troopers said the man was hit from behind by a truck while he rode his bike on York Road.
The coroner identified the man as William McCree.
Investigators told Channel 9 that a 17-year-old was behind the wheel of the truck and that the driver and three passengers were not hurt.
No charges have been filed yet but troopers said the crash is still under investigation.
