ROCK HILL, S.C. - A 9-year-old boy and his friend discovered a hand grenade in a Rock Hill neighborhood and ended up playing with it.
The boy dug it out of the ground while playing in the woods behind his home on Stonewall Avenue.
His mother saw him playing with it and called police.
When officers arrived, it was determined the grenade had no fuse or explosives.
But as a precaution, it was taken to a bunker and destroyed.
