CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Several environmental activists dumped 500 pounds of coal Thursday afternoon in front of Bank of America’s corporate offices.

Members of Rainforest Action Network said they are against the banking giant financing fossil fuels like coal.

The group claims the bank is contributing to the bad air quality in Charlotte.

Earlier this month, Bank of America announced a $50 billion business goal to help address climate change.
