8-year-old NC girl found safe in Kentucky, man taken into custody

STOKES COUNTY, N.C. — An Amber Alert has been canceled after a Stokes County girl was located safe in Louisville, Kentucky.

The Stokes County Sheriff’s Department believes 8-year-old Trinity Lakin McGraw was taken by 37-year-old Patrick McGraw.

McGraw was taken into custody.

They were last seen in Westfield, North Carolina, in a gray 2016 Ford Focus with Georgia license plate RDG-2198.

Trinity is described as 4 feet tall and weighing 53 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a long nightgown with a watermelon design with no shoes or socks.

Patrick is described as 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes and a white T-shirt.
