NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, N.C. — Authorities have canceled an Amber Alert after a missing 12-year-old North Carolina girl was found safe Monday morning.
Deputies in Northampton County were searching for Zahreiah Moni-Symone Gilliam.
The sheriff's office has not released any details surrounding the girl's disappearance, only calling it an abduction.
Officials said the girl was found safe Monday morning.
Northampton County straddles the North Carolina border with Virginia along Interstate 95.
