Authorities search for Pizza Hut robber

GASTONIA, N.C. — Gastonia police are looking for a man who grabbed a bag full of money from a Pizza Hut worker.

The man ran up to the front door as a worker was leaving the store on South New Hope Road Monday morning.

Officers believe he had a car waiting for him.

While they searched the area, Ashbrook High School was placed on lockdown.

Police searched the area, but found nothing.
