CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The autopsy report for a Charlotte toddler whom police said was killed by her mother showed her death was caused by being hit in the abdomen.
The report also indicated it was a homicide.
Police said Brewer wasn't breathing when her mother, Jade Butler, called 911 in October.
Butler and her boyfriend, Tony Cathey, face murder and child abuse charges in her death.
