CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A woman in Ballantyne is continuing an initiative to help homeless people stay warm.
Kaylee Lynch said she wants to make sure every person has a coat, gloves and other essentials during the winter months in Charlotte.
Last weekend, she posted on Facebook that she wanted to collect those much-needed items. She said that because of the outpouring of support, she decided to gather more on Saturday.
“I've seen so many less-fortunate people and homeless people, and it just feels great to give back and see what you can do,” Lynch said.
In addition to coats and gloves, Lynch is collecting food for the homeless.
