SALISBURY - On March 31 someone broke into a vehicle at South Lexington Elementary School in Lexington.
The thief got away with the victim’s pocketbook.
At 1:30 p.m., the suspect withdrew $1,500 from the victim’s bank account at the State Employees Credit Union in Salisbury. She was possibly driving a gold Dodge Caravan.
The bank provided photos of the suspect who withdrew cash from the victim’s account.
The victim told Channel 9 she’s upset about more than just the money.
“My camera card with pictures of my little boy from the past year were in there. I'm just heartbroken over the items that money can't replace,” she said.
If you are able to identify the suspect in the photos, please contact the Salisbury Police Department at 704-683-5333 or Crime Stoppers at 1-866-639-5245.
