Bill would require women be told drug-induced abortion prodecure could be reversed

A bill was introduced in the North Carolina House that would require doctors to tell pregnant women having a drug-induced abortion that the procedure can be reversed.

Anti-abortion groups claim, up to a certain point, that the procedure can be stopped and hundreds of 'reversals' have resulted in healthy children.

The American Medical Association and other groups said there's no evidence a reversal is safe or effective.

Experts said politicians shouldn't be telling doctors to recommend unproven procedures.
