Billy Graham Rapid Response Team sending chaplains to Connecticut after shooting

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team is sending chaplains to Connecticut after the school shooting that happened there Friday.

Twenty-seven people were killed in the Newtown, Conn. shooting, the Associated Press reported.

Crisis-trained chaplains from the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, which also ministered in the wake of the Aurora, Colo. movie theater shooting, will help provide emotional and spiritual care, the organization said.
