CHARLOTTE, N.C. - A deal was worked out Wednesday night that will bring 250 new jobs to Mecklenburg County.
Black & Decker will move one of its operations to a building near Carowinds off Choate Circle.
The county commissioners agreed to a $115,000 incentive deal saving the company money on its taxes for three years.
The company will create more than 250 full-time jobs with an average salary of just under $30,000 a year.
