STANLEY, N.C. - The town Stanley in Gaston County has issued a boil water advisory on Thursday.
Engineers are concerned work on the town water tank may have allowed bacteria into the system.
Officials said it’s not likely, but they are waiting for lab tests to come back Friday to make sure.
