Boone police offer reward in pharmacy robbery

BOONE, N.C. — Police said a man who said he had a gun robbed the Walgreens in Boone of prescription medication at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
 
Police said the man is Caucasian, between 20 and 30 years old, and was wearing a red and black, horizontally-striped jacket, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.

The suspect fled from the store in a blue or silver older model Ford.

Police in Boone are offering a reward for information leading to an arrest.
