BURKE COUNTY, N.C. - Burke County authorities arrested seven people Thursday in an undercover prostitution string.
Officers from the Sheriff’s Office made contact with the suspects through a website and met them at a pre-determined location, where they offered sex acts in exchange for money.
The solicitations were caught on video using a hidden camera.
The suspects were each charged with one count of misdemeanor prostitution and one count of misdemeanor solicitation of prostitution.
They are due in court July 28.
