BURKE COUNTY, N.C. — A convicted felon is in jail after police say they found drugs and a gun inside his house.
Burke County deputies first went to Earl Kusnerak's home in May while they were looking for a shooting suspect.
They told The Hickory Daily Record they got a warrant and found seven marijuana plants, methamphetamine and a rifle. They did not find the shooting suspect.
They arrested Kusnerak on Tuesday. He'll be in court later this month.
Kusnerack has two prior convictions for trafficking cocaine.
