BURKE COUNTY, N.C. — A Burke County man will be in court Monday after deputies said he stabbed a man.
Investigators said Dwayne Abee stabbed Bryan Cook in the throat Friday night.
Officers found Cook lying on a porch at a home on Claude Brittain Road. Witnesses told deputies Abee stabbed Cook.
Officers arrested Abee at the home next door.
Cook was flown to a hospital in Tennessee and his condition has not been released.
