CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. — Caldwell County officials said inmates have been relocated after a water main break Sunday.
Officials said the Caldwell County Detention Center was evacuated after the water line broke.
The Sheriff’s Office said the inmates were placed in nearby facilities until crews can fix the problem.
Officials told Channel 9 there is no impact on public safety and they expect the repairs to be completed in a few days.
