CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton made a baseball game his first public appearance since having surgery on his throwing shoulder March 29.
Newton attended the Charlotte Knights game Saturday at BB&T Field with six Make-A-Wish kids in cooperation with his Cam Newton Foundation.
James, Jordan, Precious, CJ, Carmella and Todd joined Newton on the field for a ceremonial first pitch.
