CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carolina Panthers MVP quarterback Cam Newton will star in a new mobile game later this year.
The game will feature Newton’s trademark flair, style and athleticism.
Hugo Games, a mobile interactive entertainment developer and publisher, announced Wednesday that it has partnered with Newton to develop the first game featuring his likeness.
“As my fans know, I love video games, so to have the opportunity to star in my own game is truly a dream come true,” said Newton. “Players can expect the game to be fast paced, exciting, action packed and intense – just like how I play professional football.”
More details, including the title, will be released in the coming weeks.
The game will be available on iOS and Android phones.
