CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. - More students have gotten sick from a bacteria outbreak at a Cabarrus County school.
The Independent Tribune reported the number of illnesses at Bethel Elementary is now 12.
That is up from 10 on Monday.
The contagious disease is caused by a bacterium called shigella.
