CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Man points gun at store clerk in Catawba Co.

CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — Catawba County deputies have released frightening surveillance video of an armed man pointing a gun at store clerks during a robbery.

In the video, you can see the robbery unfold inside the Propst Superette, on Highway 16 just north of Conover.

At one point, one of the men involved in the robbery pointed a gun at two different clerks working at the store.

The suspects took off with only a Mountain Dew after other customers began walking into the store.
