Charlotte among markets where homes are selling fastest

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Fall is the new spring? That might be the case for the U.S. housing market, according to a new report from Zillow Group Inc. And North Carolina’s two largest cities are among a handful of locales nationwide where homes are flying off the market the fastest — particularly those in the entry-level bracket.

Both Charlotte and Raleigh are seeing entry-level homes go under contract in just four days, according to Zillow’s analysis.

Out of 50 markets included in the report, only five are seeing homes in that category move faster.
