Charlotte couple to appear on "Shark Tank" Friday

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte couple will be appearing on ABC’s television show, “Shark Tank,” Friday for their children’s apparel company.

The RuffleButts brand was created in 2007 by Amber and Mark Schaub.

Amber found herself working an unfulfilling job, and had the urge to create “something larger than herself.”

Her husband, Mark, worked as a vice president for a mortgage company but left his job in 2010 to join his wife in their new business endeavor as Rufflebutts COO.

Together, Amber and Mark have created a brand centered on providing exceptional customer service stemming from the golden rule, “Do unto others as you would have done unto you.”

With their loyal customers behind them, Amber and Mark plan to continue to build upon their success, making RuffleButt” a household name in the children’s apparel industry.

Amber and Mark’s episode will air on “Shark Tank” Friday night on ABC at 9 p.m.
