CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte family said they are frightened after someone shot into their car in what they believe is a case of road rage.
Ashley Black said she was with her husband as he was driving on Brookshire Boulevard Monday morning.
She said they let someone pass them, but that person rolled down his window and pointed a gun at her face.
"After we let him get in front of us, he shot out the window. I don't know if he was shooting up, down, sideways, but we saw a muzzle flash. And, heard a shot," Black said.
Black said she gave police a clear description of the suspect, the vehicle and the tag number. She said she is waiting to hear back from detectives.
