Charlotte leaders approve expanding bike-sharing program

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte City Council approved expanding a bike-sharing program.

“B-cycle" will get more than $1.5 million in federal money.

The city of Charlotte would give it $450,000 and eventually be reimbursed.

"B-cycle" allows people to rent bikes and then return them to another station when they are finished riding.
