Charlotte police search for armed robber

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are looking for the robber behind at least three armed robberies in Charlotte.
 
In all cases, he was wearing a ball cap and was carrying a gun.

The most recent robbery happened at about 11 p.m. Sunday at the Sam's Mart on Statesville Road and police said at about 4 a.m. Tuesday, he robbed a woman at a Circle K on Idlewild Road at gunpoint.
 
The first robbery occurred June 27 at the Subway on South Kings Drive.
