Children infected with E.coli continue recovery

CLEVELAND COUNTY, N.C. — The children  infected with E.coli continued to recover Tuesday.

Tracy and Mike Roberts said their 5-year-old daughter, Hannah, is continuing to receive dialysis at Levine Children's Hospital.

Bennie McClannon said her 12-year-old grandson, Jordan, had his feeding tube removed on Tuesday.

She said doctors may try to wake him on Wednesday.

"We're praying that he's going to be able to breathe on his own and they won't have to put him back on that ventilator," McClannon said.

Health officials increased the number of confirmed cases to 46.
