CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte City Council approved 600 more body cams for its police officers Monday night that will cost about $600,000.
A donation from the police foundation will cover a third of it, and the rest will come from money left over from the last time the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department bought body cams.
