CHARLOTTE, N.C. - On Monday, the Charlotte community could find out whether a new Walgreens is going to be built at a busy corner in Dilworth.
Last month, the zoning committee approved the plans to build on the corner of East Morehead and Kenilworth Streets.
Now, the decision is up to the city council.
Normally, only a majority approval is needed, but because neighbors filed a formal petition against it, the city council will need three fourths approval for the Walgreens to pass.
