City sets traps after coyote confronts man, bites dog

TEGA CAY, S.C. — Tega Cay officials set five coyote traps after a man who was jogging was confronted by a coyote on July 7, city officials told

The coyote that encountered the man also bit one of his two dogs.

The traps were set in two locations, and officials captured three coyotes.

The traps were set at Lookout Park and the Stonecrest Greenway.
