CHADBURN, N.C. - A civil rights group will travel to eastern North Carolina on behalf of a Charlotte teenager who was killed there in 2011.
They want answers about Jasmine Thar’s death.
She was visiting family in Chadburn when investigators said she was shot and killed when a neighbor’s rifle accidentally went off.
But some believe the shooting was on purpose.
They want to see the report on the shooting and are upset they haven’t received it yet.
