CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two 16-year-olds were shot Thursday in west Charlotte after a fight broke out between two groups, police said.
The teens were shot at about 10:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of Russell Avenue, officials said.
One teen was shot in the back and the other was shot in the arm. Police expect both to survive.
No one has been arrested.
