CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers had a positive interaction with children by playing basketball games.
CMPD hosted its annual 3-on-3 Police Week Basketball Tournament on Saturday morning at Queens University.
Each team included two children and one officer.
The mission was to have the players get to know each other and compete to win the tournament.
