CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating what led up to a shooting in west Charlotte.
They said two people showed up Monday morning at Carolinas Medical Center with gunshot wounds.
The investigation led officers to Freedom Drive and Camp Greene Street. Channel 9 saw officers collecting evidence at the scene, where there were nearly a dozen shell casings in the middle of the street.

The shooting victims are expected to be OK. Police have not released their names.
Officers have not made any arrests.
