CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating a shooting on Interstate 85 that occurred just before 2 p.m.
The victim told police that he had been driving through a neighborhood near the Brookshire Freeway and Glenwood Drive when a car started following him.
When he got on the interstate heading south, someone from that car started shooting at him.
The victim wasn't hit, and when he got off at Littlerock Road he went to a hotel and called police.
While he was inside, police said he told them the suspects stole his car and left.
Police are questioning the victim at police headquarters.
