CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is asking for help identifying a robber after a Cook Out was robbed Monday.
Around 7:05 a.m., a man entered the restaurant on Sardis Road North, according to police. The man, armed with a gun, demanded money from employees. He then fled the scene with the employee's money in an unknown vehicle.
The man is described as a dark-skinned man, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall. He has a medium build and about 25 years old. He was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, a black and polka dot bandana across his face and gloves. The robber was carrying a light blue duffel bag.
Police say the robbery appears to be connected to an armed robbery of a Cook Out in Denver, N.C.
