CHARLOTTE, N.C. - A Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department officer was arrested Wednesday on a DWI charge, according to CMPD.
Aubrey Guldager was arrested around 2 a.m. and charged with driving while impaired.
Guldager was hired by CMPD on Jan. 25, 2010, and was assigned to the North Tryon division.
She has been placed on paid administrative assignment pending the outcome of the investigation.
"DWI is an extremely dangerous offense and something we as an organization will not tolerate. The CMPD will continue to hold our officers to the highest standards and accountable for their actions,” said Chief Rodney Monroe in a statement.
