CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating after they said someone fired shots into a home with people inside.
Chopper 9 flew over the scene on Pruitt Street, where there was a heavy police presence as authorities investigated.
Officers said no one was hit by the bullets.
A Channel 9 photographer on the scene noticed several shell casings in the middle of the street.
Police have not made any arrests.
Channel 9 has contacted police to find out what may have led up to the shooting and how many people were inside the home when shots were fired.
