CHARLOTTE, N.C. - On Monday morning, Mecklenburg County commissioners are scheduled to meet behind closed doors to discuss the search for the new county manager.
Last month, a small group of commissioners saw the list of candidates, but did not release those names to the full board.
It all comes after the chairwoman's controversial decision to appoint a search committee for the process.
She said the smaller group will have a better chance of keeping the names confidential.
