Concord police charge man in 23 breaking and entering incidents

CONCORD, N.C. — Concord police have arrested a man in connection with 23 breaking and entering incidents.

Anthony Alfonza Taylor was arrested on Thursday. Police said he is charged with 37 felony violations in connection with the 23 incidents, which happened in Concord between March 19 and Sept. 5.

Investigators said they think Taylor moved to the Concord area in February, after being released from the North Carolina Department of Corrections in November 2011.  He is a convicted habitual felon with a criminal history for similar offenses, police said.

Taylor is in custody at the Cabarrus County jail under a $1,000,000 bond.
