CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Officers shut down inbound Wilkinson Boulevard at I-77 on Thursday after a concrete slab fell off of a tractor-trailer.
The ramp from southbound I-77 onto the I-277 outerloop was also closed.
Everything was reopened at about 4:30 p.m.

Officers helped drivers get around the mess. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police started reversing traffic on inbound Wilkinson to get cars moving out of the area.
CMPD said it brought in heavy equipment to remove the slab.
Officials said no cars were hit by the concrete slab.
