CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte area will see a bit of a cool down Wednesday, but it will be short-lived.
The warm-up returns Thursday with temperatures back near 60 degrees. A bigger warm-up is on track for the weekend as temps will hit 70 degrees or higher by Sunday, but rain is still on the way as heavy downpours and gusty winds are likely late Sunday.
It will be dry and cool Wednesday with temps only in the lower 50s.
Again, not too concerned with the rain chance for Saturday but Sunday could be really wet and that may impact the Panthers game.
