• Couple indicted after accusations of stealing IDs


    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - A grand jury indicted a Charlotte couple on allegations that they created a fake business to steal unemployment benefits using others’ identities.
    Earlier this month, federal investigators filed a criminal complaint against now-divorced Letitia and Michael Johnson.
    They were indicted on one count of wire fraud and one count of theft of public money.
