CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte residents should be prepared for a traffic shift on a major Ballantyne road on Sunday night for the 485 widening project.
Crews will shift northbound traffic on Johnston Road to the southbound lanes at 9 p.m.
Crews are building a support structure for a flyover bridge from Johnston Road to the Charlotte interloop.
The road will be back to normal by 6 a.m. on Monday, then close again that night.
