Crime scene investigators testify in triple murder trial

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Jurors are hearing testimony Friday from crime scene investigators in the trial of a man accused of killing three people and then setting their house on fire.

Prosecutors say Justin Hurd killed Jasmine Hines, her aunt Kinsasha Wagstaff and Wagstaff's boyfriend, Kevin Young in 2008.

Investigators testified Friday about mail and a cell phone they found inside the burned home in northwest Charlotte.

A firearms expert also testified about bullet fragments found at the scene.

Channel 9 has a camera in the courtroom and will have more on the proceedings at 5 p.m.
