CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — A death investigation is underway north of Conover in Catawba County after a 21-year-old man was found in a bathroom with a stab wound to his chest Thursday night, officials say.
Deputies received a warrant to search a mobile home on Curlee Road at about 7 p.m.
Authorities questioned several people who were inside the home but told Channel 9 early Friday morning that they do not suspect foul play.
The man's name has not been released.
The case is under investigation.
