CONOVER, N.C. — Two people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a four-car chain-reaction crash in Conover early Wednesday morning.
Police told Channel 9 that a minivan crossed the center line on Highway 16 and hit a red car head-on.
After that collision, officers said two other drivers could not see the crash because of the heavy fog, and ended up hitting the van and car.
It was unclear which drivers were hospitalized.
