Deputies: Father, son face charges after traffic stop

IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — Deputies in Iredell County said a father and son are facing charges after officials said the son appeared to make a drug transaction.

Officials were going to stop the vehicle after checking the plate and seeing the owner did not have a valid driver's license.

Before the deputy could conduct a traffic stop, the car pulled into a gas station parking lot. The deputy said he saw the two people in the car get out of the vehicle and act very suspicious.

Kindall Allison Goss Jr. , 23, was seen meeting with two people and making a drug transaction, police said. Less than a half hour later, the vehicle left and the deputies conducted a traffic stop.

A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of six bags of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and $4,659.98 in cash. 

Kindall Allison Goss Sr., 44, was charged with driving while license revoked.

Goss Jr. was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  He was taken to the detention center and received a $5,000 secured bond.
