Deputies: Robber held up 2 Fort Mill businesses minutes apart

FORT MILL, S.C. — Deputies in York County are investigating two early morning robberies in Fort Mill Friday.

Police said a man armed with a handgun entered the Sunoco at 2891 Highway 160 at 3:38 a.m. and demanded money from the clerk.

Roughly 10 minutes later, deputies said a man matching the same description walked into the Time Turnaround at 101 Carolina Place and robbed an employee there as well.

Police described the robber as a black man, wearing long-sleeved black shirt, grey pants, red hat with a red bandana over his face and another red bandana over his right hand.

York County Sheriff's deputies are investigating.
